gar0u: This cache had a good run and it was a lot of fun to watch the key move around. Unfortunately it has gone missing again and has failed to reappear.

Geocache Description:

This is a two-stage puzzle cache!

The coordinates listed above ARE NOT the location of the cache! You will need to locate the "Cache Box Key" travel bug (TB123KM) to unlock the "Cache Box."

This cache is located in a little known park at the top of South Richland. Enjoy a panoramic view of the Columbia river, Yakima river, Pasco, Kennewick, and Richland bridges, White Bluffs, the Hanford area, and on a clear day, the Blue Mountains.

You are looking for a 13" x 9" locked cash box. In order to locate the exact coordinates of the "Cache Box" and unlock it, you'll first need to find the "Cache Box Key" travel bug (TB123KM).

Once you've located the key, head to the parking coordinates, then use the coordinates on the "Cache Box Key" travel bug to locate the "Cache Box" and claim your prize! (Be sure to bring something nice to leave for the next geocacher!)

Original "Cache Box" contents:

  • 1923 silver dollar (FTF Prize!)
  • 101 plastic coin set
  • Caliber's #53 DeLorme cache chip
  • Plastic Elmo (would make a great travel bug!)
  • Magnetic noise makers
  • Spare AA batteries (4)
  • Log and pen

Please try and protect the lock mechanism when you re-hide the cache. When you see it, you'll know what I mean. :)
