Tukwila has seven trails that cut through residential areas or that connect residential to the business areas. This cache is located on Tukwila Trail #1.
While this may not be the perfect "destination" geocache (most of these trails are 1/2 mile or less) they are great for people who live or work in the area. Most folks don't realize this network of trails exist, unless they live by them.
This particular trail is a combination stairs and well defined path that cuts through a greenbelt. The trail itself is mostly flat, but there are quite a few stairs.
As this is in a residential area (though away from anyone's backyard) I would use common sense before attempting this one at midnight, or something.
There is parking available at 47.28.286, 122.15.321, at the Teamsters office building.
As of 06/02/05 this has been upgraded to a small container. You still need to bring your own pen.
