Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the listed coordinates; the location can be determined from the information provided.

Illawarra Jones, the renown archaeologist, has for years been in pursuit of ancient circular and spiral designs (some would say he has even been obsessed by them), believing them to contain long forgotten coded messages. His main investigations have been directed toward spiral petroglyphs, but have also included massive patterns marked on the ground in Peru (below) and of late, aboriginal relics. Analytic techniques included spectral analysis, radiography, and subjecting the objects to various light sources.
He made a breakthrough recently on an aboriginal artefact after illuminating it with ultraviolet light. A pattern of dots appeared fluorescent on a spiral background; he made a rough sketch of the pattern before it disappeared. After close examination of the sketch, he felt he had unravelled the mystery. "Ah-ha!" he exclaimed, and with a quick glance at his watch he raced out the door to search for the treasure.

The cache contains a log book, pencil and a FTF geocoin!
