The cache is a family-friendly micro in lower City Park, Iowa City. The cache is log only (matchstick container); bring a pen.
The cache is located near one of the Lego Kids’ favorite spots in City Park. Whenever we pass by this area, they always stop to swing. Bring along a little monkey of your own to help find the cache. If you do not have a small primate to assist you, please take care to not damage any part of the structure.
Special Note: There is a more obvious hiding spot around the corner. Please do not move the cache there as it will fall into the abyss. We have already dropped one container into this location by accident.
City Park features a public outdoor swimming pool, numerous picnic areas, nice playgrounds, bocce courts, small amusement park with five different rides for smaller children, tennis courts, baseball diamonds, a scenic bike path, and an outdoor theater.
Parking is available nearby in Lower City Park. Park hours are from 6:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
