Geocache Description:

Come join us in the Scenic Village at Blue Mountains for lunch with a bunch of geocachers. All cachers are welcome: young & old, new & seasoned.
When? Sunday Sept 21 at 1pm
Where? Tholos Restaurant in the Villiage at Blue Mountain
What? meet, chat & eat with fellow geocachers
Why? 'cause it'll be heaps of fun

COG (Central Ontario Geocachers) is getting together with the fine folk at Blue Mountain to help-with and participate-in their Second Annual "Geocache Blue" weekend on Saturday and Sunday Sept 20th and 21st.
We're holding this COG lunch on Sunday after "Geocache Blue" to give everyone the opportunity to take part in Blue's activities. After lunch you'll have plenty of time to grab some of the stunning caches in the area.
Feel free to join in the "Geocache Blue" festivities all weekend. Or just come to this COG lunch on Sunday.

The Central Ontario Geocachers Sunday lunch will be held at Tholos Restaurant at the above coordinates. Follow your GPS and open the door! We're sure there will be something you like!

Saturday:
Feel free to join us for some caching at Blue Mountain - it'll be a blast! This is Blue's second annual "Geocaching Blue" event. They're running morning and afternoon sessions of a crazy caching circuit of Blue Mountain. It's geared for newbies but it'll be heaps of fun for the entire family. This crazy caching tour will be great intro to geocaching &/OR a twist on traditional geocaching. This tour will include; the use of a GPSr for never-before-geocachers, a ride on the gondola, lots of (non-loggable)geocaches and tons of fab prizes!!! Sunday:
11am - Geocaching Workshops for Newbies- Attend if you want to learn the basics or if you'd like more advanced geo-knowledge!

Regional Geocaching:
There are 66 caches within 25 km.
We have caches of all kinds here: quick easy grabs, scenic caches, historic caches, earth caches, caving caches, cycling caches, hiking caches and canoe caches. There are caches in the surrounding towns, villiages and hamlets; along the shores of Georgian Bay; up on the Niagara Escarpment; on the Bruce Trail; and in the beautiful Beaver Valley. More geocaches will be activated prior to the event!
