This is my first cache placement so any suggestions are welcome. There is a Signal FTF coin for the first to find. Please let a newbie geocacher get this coin, just like I did at hawkeyetob's A Mane Event in West Union. Thanks! Beware of muggles and Gators!

On August 19, 2010 the doors opened to receive the first group of students at Buford Garner Elementary School in North Liberty, Iowa. The school is named for an influential school leader, Buford Garner. He was the principal at City High School from 1950-1952. He then became the Superintendent of the Iowa City Community School District from 1952 – 1969. He oversaw the construction of 8 new schools including Hoover, Twain, SEJH, Lucas, West, Lemme, Horn and Wood during his tenure. Other notable events for the district during this time were that North Liberty joined the Iowa City Community School District and the district’s library media program was expanded to include K – 12 grades, when it had originally been a 7th-12th grade program. Mr. Garner was also an active community volunteer. The school's team name is Garner Gators.
Permission to place cache given by North Liberty Park and Recreation Department. There is a Signal FTF coin for the first to find. Please let a newbie geocacher get this coin, just like I did at hawkeyetob's A Mane Event in West Union. Thanks! Beware of muggles and Gators!
