I work the Castaic area on Thursdays and often drive up to the overlook to eat my lunch. I've always looked down at the trees below and wondered what it was like down there. Turns out that some people are pigs and it is in need of a CITO event, but that's a different story. At any rate, I got to the trees and realized that I could go further. In fact, one could go all the way to the lake. My cache is about 20 feet north of the trail, a little bit up from where it gets real steep and drops to the lake.
