Geocache Description:

Taplens Statues

Do you know your Greek Mythology? There is an interesting piece of information about Greek symbols: For 100's of years Greek Gods have adorned builds as part of the architectural styles of both the old and modern building landscape. What is less known is why they have been chosen. Was it for their visual appearance? Perhaps, some say that they have been put on buildings to give the building and its occupants good fortune and luck. One modern day building design company, Taplens Construction has placed one of the following Greek Gods on every building they have constructed. They say that in doing so this has resulted in raising them to be one of the countries largest and most known builders. They say that any building that has a statue or picture or glyph of one of one or more of the Greek Gods has been blessed with fortune or saved from disaster. Is this fact or myth? I will let you decide for yourself. Attached are a few pictures that depict some of the Greek Gods, you need to become familiar with each one if you are going to be lucky or fortunate enough to unlock the mystery of this hide.
