This cache is part of my OTPB 2008 Cache placement run. Ever since we placed our first cache, Off the Beaten Path (GCM9T7) on December 18th, 2004, in this location and have come back each year and added more caches.
This area is full of cactus and other sharpies as well as snakes and animals. Be sure to wear sturdy, closed-toed shoes and long pants as a minimum when hunting for these caches. Even if you decide to drive near the caches instead of hike, these items will help protect you. In addition, a retrieval tool or hiking staff will help you get to, and/or retrieve, these caches. Bottom line... BE CAREFUL OUT HERE!
