This cache brings you to a beautiful spot high above the Crooked River, in the Otter Bench Trail System. You could easily do this cache with Otter Box if you felt like walking a bit farther. This was going to be one of the waypoints for that multi, but the spot was splendid enough to warrant being a cache in its own right.
Begin in Crooked River Ranch, at the Otter Bench Trailhead. The linked website shows a map of the area. This cache is located at a large, flat boulder a few feet below the trail. The day I placed the cache, it was 45 degrees and windy, but this seems like it would be an awfully nice place for a break in your hike on a warmer day. It's a pretty easy hide; the difficulty rating is for the length of the round trip hike.
