Neath canal cache, this is an easy cache mostly on flat ground with good footpaths and near to cycle route 47

I Set up this cache as there is few geocaches that can be done from a bicycle as this cache is near to national cycle route no 47 it can be done by foot or bicycle there are a number of foot paths to get to this one from tonna take lock hill N51°40.427 W003°46.772 down a steep hill to the locks and turn right or from the neath canal behind calor gas works N51°40.720 W003°46.450 (There are 2 canals the neath and the Tennant Canal you need the neath canal) or if you like the long route you can walk or cycle from the neath end by taking the national cycle route, plenty of good views along the canal with lots of wildlife to see along the way there is a good spot for a picnic along the canal and near cache at N51°40.453 W003°46.889.

Caution cache is located near to a busy footpath / cycle route and is between a river and a canal so be careful river can be dangerous during floods and lots of muggles as well. Please put cache back on the clip where you found it thanks

This cache is near to my other cache Rocky hole and to neath canal overflow gate multy caches by Turtlebum a series of 4 caches along the neath canal all these could be done together if you have the time to do them all

July 3 by The Brat Pack (939 found) The second DNF in the Neath area this evening - pesky micros! The write up from "kawaherp" states "this is an easy cache"; not sure that is corrcet with all the DNF logs. There were a lot of joggers, cyclists and dog walkers out this evening, which did not help. Must admit both caches had spoiler pictures and in each case it was not available!
