This is a virtual cache located east of the city of DuBois and has a low level of difficulty as you can drive nearly to it.
If you have geocached in the DuBois area you will have hunted the "Grizz1" and Grizz2" caches. These caches were placed by an extraordinary man who went by the handle of Grizz. He was known for his unusual artwork of antler and bone fetishes, earrings, necklaces, and so on. Many examples of his work can be found in his caches. Grizz was my father, and he got me started in this diversion known as geocaching. Grizz passed away suddenly February, 2003. This virtual cache is his final resting place where you can discover his identity and pay your respects to a fellow geocacher (He LOVED this sport). You may want to bring along a feather or bone to place there. To prove that you have found "Grizz" you must e-mail me the words of the inscription found at the cache site. I will delete any “find” logs which appear to be bogus, counterfeit, or otherwise not respectful of the sport.
