When I built the Ogouchi dam in 1952, Ogouchi line was made for
material transportation. For 4 years and six month, Ogouchi route
was used. It is stopped, and a bridge, a tunnel, a rail are left
now.
This CACHE is installed in the trace of Ogouchi line. CACHE is a
container made by about 200ml plastic. Please bring it with you
inside because a pen does not enter.
===Okutama-Mukashi-Michi===
I have it of about 10 kilos from Oku-Tama Station to the Lake
Oku-Tama. It takes about 4 hours when I walk entirely. I recommend
that I fix the equipment and come. Mukashi-Michi goes along the
neighborhood of the several places bus stop on the way.
奥多摩むかし道は青梅街道の旧道です。1879年に開通し、1899年からむかし道が使用されました。青梅街道は山梨と東京を結ぶ重要な街道です。今は国道４１１号線が開通し、青梅街道と呼ばれています。
1952年、小河内ダムを建設する時、資材運搬の為に小河内線が作られました。４年半、小河内線は使われました。今は休止され、橋、トンネル、レールが残されています。
このキャッシュは小河内線の跡に設置されています。キャッシュは約200mlのプラスチック製容器です。中にペンが入っていないので持参してください。
===奥多摩むかし道===
奥多摩駅から奥多摩湖まで約１０キロあります。全て歩くと約4時間かかります。装備を整えて訪れることをお勧めします。むかし道は途中数箇所バス停の近くを通ります。
