This cache is one of a series based around the Fife Stop Line, a
second world war anti-invasion defensive structure built in
1940/41, see cache GC11H67 for more details.
Dragons teeth are angular concrete pillars set into the ground to
prevent the advancement of tanks. A long line of such pillars were
built on Collessie Hill to deny the enemy the high ground
overlooking the stop line. Unfortunately the pillars are located
behind several electric fences so this cache is instead located
from where the best view of them is to be had.
When at the cache site look north east up the slope where you will
see five parallel rows of anti tank pillars which make a dog-leg
bend as they run up the hill. I have been driving past these for
years and never noticed them.
