A small Tupperware container located along the Lenape Trail in the Middle Run Nature Area.
Ever since starting geocaching, I've been fascinated by the ruins I've come across in the parks and other areas that this activity has brought me to. Fair Hill, White Clay, Middle Run; they all have their share. I wonder who these people were who tried to make a go of it at these spots and how long ago for the structures to have deteriorated as they have. This cache will bring you to a pair of ruined structures along the Lenape Trail in Middle Run Park. The cache location is close to, but not in, the ruins so there is no need to disturb them. I averaged 200 readings initially with an accuracy of around 15 feet. No hints to start as the find should be pretty easy. I'll post hints later if DNFs start to pile up. Park at the main parking area off of Possum Hollow Rd. or, for a shorter walk, at the pull off on the left just inside the Park entrance. FTF prize is a magnetic key holder to be used as a micro cache or to (gasp!) hide your keys!! Congrats to JenniferQP for FTF!
