This is a Fairlie straightforward Cache, you don’t need metal detectors or ropes or climbing gear. !
Park at N55 43.858 W004 50.279 (NS 21896 52262) and take a minute to absorb the view, from Ailsa Craig round to Ben Lomond not forgetting to see the Sleeping Soldier on Arran .Its Fairlie impressive !
If you approach from Dalry, ( the nicer drive ) the road is unfenced single track with passing places for a good bit of the way , so take care and watch for sheep and big hairy coos with horns .
There is a small Fishery ahead of you ( what a coincidence !) which is Fairlie close, pop in and scrounge a coffee and a sandwich … its Fairlie cheap .
