Geocaching Activities:
The focus of the this event is on the social aspect of geocaching -
meet and hang out with fellow geocachers! Here's your opportunity
to discuss those difficult caches, those crazy cache experiences
and maybe get some help on a puzzle or two.
Right now, there may be a few temp caches for this event. However,
there are many permenant caches within a 20 mile radius of camp if
you have to have that caching fix.
Group Dinner/Photo/Door Prizes:
On Saturday evening, there will be a group dinner at Camp. As your
hosts, we will provide the major fixings. This year we're making it
easier on ourselves by serving brats, burgers, dogs and all the
yummy fixings. Afterwards, we will take a group photo and hand out
geo-awards and prizes. If you haven't done enough, there will still
be plenty of time to talk caching around the fire afterwards!

toilets, sinks and running water, private showers, changing areas,
and electrical outlets. Firewood is provided by the camp. Please DO
NOT bring any from home.
Camp Facilities: Camp offers the following for
your enjoyment: cross country ski boots and skies with miles and
miles of trails (rated easy to expert), sledding hill (equipped)
with plastic sleds, fire pit and floodlights), ice skates, 2
skating rinks, hockey sticks, broom ball equipment, fishing holes
(bring your own poles and license), and the ever popular sauna
which was recently rebuilt after burning down a few years ago. You
are welcome to bring your own equipment as well. From experience,
if you really want to go sledding, bring a snow tube (I have
recorded speeds of 35 MPH+ down the hill with one)!
Food: To keep the cost low, we opted out of camp
provided meals. Which means, meals are on your own! You can bring a
small grill or personal coleman stove to put on the deck of the
cabin (no grilling or personal stoves inside), a pizza oven, deep
fryer or small microwave and/or coffee maker to use in the cabin.
We have used pizza ovens, deep fryers, toasters, and our jet boil
with great success! There are several restaurants nearby serving
all kinds of food. The main dining hall does have coffee and hot
chocolate available during the day and early evening for your
consumption. There will be a group dinner provided by your hosts
on Saturday night at Camp.
