Located in the Friends of Conservation Woodland preserve.
If you Hike in...overall terrain rating would be higher, because of the hills and distant. You can drive in....but even this location was hard for my 4 wheel drive...off road vehicle. I would attempt with anything less...particularly if it has rained or snow is on the ground. The location is as it states in Pine woods...I'm curious as to why the pines don't have many needles....but they are pines. The trail go's on from here...and I never finished the journey...but plan to return....take the dog, the family and enjoy the day...the are is full of wildlife, tree education and praire grounds.
