Geocache Description:

A micro on a busy Chapel Hill road.

Bison tube swingin' low in the wind.

This location is close to a site that is well renowned throughout Chapel Hill for all day breakfasts, and is placed on Rosemary Street. Owner of location is aware of the cache; please be courteous of the area

Village lore indicates that Rosemary Street is named for two ladies, Rose and Mary, who lived on opposite ends of what was, at the time, one of two residential streets in the village. In his memoir of growing up in Chapel Hill at the turn of the century, William Meade Prince explains, “Most of the better homes, where the Faculty members lived, and our more prosperous citizens, were on Front Street, or Franklin.” Although his own family lived on Rosemary, or “Back Street,” he assures his readers that their “social status . . . was not impaired . . . . Chapel Hill has ever stood for the things of the spirit and the real virtues, with little emphasis on material values and keeping up with the Joneses.” (from The Preservation Society of Chapel Hill}

To quote an erstwhile philosopher,
"Life wouldn't be worth living without Saturday breakfast here"
So, everyone, your choice is this: 1) eat Saturday breakfast or enjoy 2) a life that continues to be devoid of worth.

Very close by parking for this either here or across the road in the Municipal Parking Lot.
