This event is part of a full weekend of festivities being held at
the White memorial
Foundation in Litchfield, CT over 9/14-9/16. There will also be
a LAND based potluck picnic on Sunday, Sept 16th.

Camp, Cache & Paddle
This event will meet at the boat launch on Sat. Sept 15th at
10 am for a pre paddling (tailgate style) get together. Even if
you are not paddling, you are welcome to come and enjoy some
caching comraderie, and see the paddlers off. This event will
provide a meeting place for cachers (both daytrippers and weekend
campers alike) to get together on Saturday. Stop by, say hello,
meet some friendly cachers, and take off from here to go paddling
or hiking (and caching, of course).
If anyone has any extra spare boats (and/or life jackets) they
can loan, please post what you have. The river is for paddling only
and you will run into some Beaver Dams. Motorized boats are allowed
on nearby Bantam Lake.
Bantam River is a great place to paddle with lots of opportunity
for wildlife viewing.
Wing-It has kindly placed many caches along the river.
It would be fun to serve up some breakfast fare. We'll bring
some bagels...does anyone have a large coffee pot? Please post if
you will bring a brunch/breakfast item to share (optional).
