Mad Eye Moody Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

The DAK Girls: We went today to fix this one up again, but could not find the container. [:(] We then decided that we needed to design a better mouse trap. One that would not keep falling down with every strong wind. Of course we could add more weight, but have already rejected that idea due to not wanting to get someone hurt in case it fell unexpectedly during a retrieval attempt.

Sadly we came to the conclusion that the time has come to close this one down. [:(] It was fun while it lasted... The DAK Girls

Geocache Description:

Mad Eye Moody
Mad Eye Moody is an experienced Auror, who has lost an eye, leg, and part of his nose while fighting the Dark Arts. As such, he is now extremely cautious and believes a good defense is a good defense.

Mad Eye placed this cache 100% in plain sight. Muggles and Dementors can easily see the cache but they can not retrieve the cache. Moody cleverly protected the contents with a powerful “Impervious Hex”.

Only the most clever of Wizards whom possess strong arms, good balance, and a tad of persistence will have the capability to overcome the power of the protective curse.
Advice from Mad Eye:

1. Before you attempt to retrieve the cache, make sure you have figured out how to replace the cache with the use of the “Impervious Hex”.

2. Only Muggles throw things. Do not attempt to throw anything at the Cache. Tossing anything is not the correct answer, and will not help at all when trying to replace the cache.

3. When replacing the cache please follow Mad Eye’s example, and make sure the Geocaching Logo is clearly visible for all manner of creature to see easily.

4. Whilst perfecting your levitating skill with the Impervious Hex, please use the utmost of discretion and caution with regards to Muggles as not to put them in danger or reveal any wizarding secrets.

Good Luck! - The DAK Girls
