This cache is an ammo can, not to be confused with the summit log black tube. Kings Peak is the highest peak in Utah at 13,528 feet. This is a very Challenging location to get to, but also very rewarding. This is one worth taking your picture on top of the peak and posting it with your log, sharing your success with a picture is as much fun for all the rest of us too.
This Cache is for those planning to spend several days hiking and camping in the Uintah's and wanting to go to the highest peak in Utah. There are many streams and lakes to fish at and beautiful areas to camp at in the Uintah's. We hiked in from Henry's fork trail head and camped at Dollar lake. This Cache is a medium size standard green ammo can, and due to the weight of carrying it to the top of Kings peak, I only put a log book, pencil, and rain poncho in it.
