Geocache Description:

Easy access just off of paved parking area....stealth is important whenever there are fishermen or duck hunters launching boats at this popular boat ramp. This one has been muggled on several occasions. Please replace the container to the same location after signing the log.

The Woodland Beach Boat Ramp is heavily used by those who like to fish, crab, boat or hunt waterfowl on the Delaware Bay and the tidal saltmarsh of the Woodland Beach Wildlife Area. The nearby town of Woodland Beach was once a thriving resort and shipping port served by its own railhead and a ferry line with ports of call in Wilmington, Philadelphia and Trenton. The old wood pilings of the ferry docks can still be seen from the fishing pier on the Delaware Bay when the tide is low.
This one has been destroyed and/or removed several times.....think stealth if muggles are present.
