This cache is located in the Adirondack State Park off route 86 between Wilmington (Whiteface mtn) and Lake Placid
Very nice hike to a small pond..suitable for swimming (bring your suit if a hot day). Traveling south on Rt 86 from Wilmington; the Copperas trailhead is on your left 2.8 miles from Whiteface ski center. Hike is about 1/2 mile with some moderately steep sections. You can take second trailhead on the left 1 mile from first trailhead..this hike is more level, but longer.
