Tired of winter? Cold, snow, and gloomy days getting you down? You need a Spring Break!
Put the 4th Annual SOUTHERN VERMONT SPRING BREAK on your calendar!
WHEN: Sunday, May 18, 2014; 11am to whenever. Event will be held rain or shine.
WHERE: Town Hill picnic area in Whitingham Vt.
Available on site are picnic tables, fireplaces, & a small shelter in case of rain. There is plenty of parking and two big playgrounds for the kids. There will be a table for TB’s & trades, and one for raffle prizes. Bring a folding chair if you like.
Cell service is iffy here, but there is WiFi two miles away in Jacksonville at the Municipal Center Library. It’s free but needs the password “library08”.
In three years we haven’t got the weather right yet, but remember this is New England. Here's hoping 2014 will be the charm!
DIRECTIONS: In Jacksonville village, take Vt Rt 100 South, go 1.8 miles to top of the hill. Bear left onto Goodnow Rd. for ½ mile, bear right, and you’re here!
SCHEDULE: 11:00 AM to whenever. Meet and Mingle……
12:00 High Noon: Group Photo
12:ish Potluck Lunch right after the photo
12:30: Raffle drawing. For anyone who would like to participate, please bring something for the prize table. The more the merrier! Everyone who signs the log book gets a raffle ticket and we’ll draw out of a hat for prizes until they‘re gone.
THEN…time to go geocaching!
We will place a few new caches for this event, but if anyone else would like to, feel free!
