I am not from this area, but I love to come up to Manhattan to
geocache. I have driven by this location many times, but have never
taken the time to stop and really look at the view. I stopped today
and decided this one should be checked out.
I am sure the local geocachers have already been here. Now you
guys have a reason to see it again. I hope that everyone else that
has not been to this area will come see it. There are a lot of
really great caches in the area to hunt. Bring your camera!
There are three plaques located at this location. On each one of
the plaques you will need to answer a question. They are as
follows:
GEOLOGY AT KONZA What are the last three words in bold
letters in the lower right hand corner? KONZA PRAIRIE What
are the last three words of the text on the plaque? KANSAS RIVER
VALLEY Who was the Konza Prairie named after?
