I did not have the spoiler pic (not that it looked anything like that today) and thought it would be a tough find. Especially with water flowing in the creek. But I got lucky and spotted a likely spot. Thanks for the hide.

One of a number of finds during a great hike on the Chumash Trail today. Hiked to the Rocky Peak Fire Road and back. At first I thought the cache was closer to the trail, but my GPS settled and I made the find. A very nice tribute to Lucky. Thanks for sharing the pictures. Glad I could be one of the finders of this cache. Thanks for the hide!

Also hiking from the Rocky Peak trailhead this morning. Though I have a few more stops to make before heading back. Lucky was a lucky dog. I loved the posted pictures. Thanks.

Oh boy did I spend a lot of time on this one. First, I was rather surprised at how much work it was to get to this one from A Space in Time. Not that I mind such an effort, but it is time-consuming. I was shocked to see what trail I ended up on, and how far into Simi I was. I'd been on this trail before, but certainly not starting from the Rocky Peak area. To make matters worse, I probably passed over the cache half a dozen times. I had it in my dull mind that I was looking for something larger, and that cost me quite a bit of time. Eventually, though, I made the find. Time to head back up the hill...not the trail mind you...the hill. Nice shortcut if you can manage it.
