Easy accessible trail. Can park near entrance to the trail. There is a small entrace fee for the park $3.00 adults over 12. Plan on staying all day, it is a beautiful park and watch out for Aligators. Not any near this cache.
We tried to be the first to place a cache in this park, or any where else for that matter, but a lucky Geocacher beat us to it. I know folks don't think its as much fun to place 2 cache's in the same park, but we have had this planned since we found out about this sport. So we went as darn far away as possible and found another exciting part of this park. If you like fishing you will like this location. When you find the tree, it is in only one logical spot. This is so close to the trail, you should be careful that no one is watching you, folks come out of nowhere and catch you. We placed 2 very collectible NASA Space shuttle patches and 3 packs of Trading cards of STAR TREK, also a bumper sticker from the park. Notice how vague I am being. Makes it more interesting.
