Slovenska je jednou z výrazných architektonických dominánt
Bratislavy a je neprehliadnutelná z každej vyhliadky nad
mestom. Vašou úlohou je dat si malú
prechádzku na miesta, z ktorých je
mrakodrap odfotený – práve tam nájdete indície na výpocet
súradníc geocache. Tri vyhliadky vsak musite identifikovat len
podla fotky v popise, ich suradnice nie su zverejnene.

Horizontálna cast budovy
vytvára priestor na plnenie prevádzkových funkcií banky. Je
doplnená dvoranou vytvárajúcou atraktívny a úcelný priestor s
vyššou zelenou. Vo výškovej casti sa
nachádzajú pracoviská administratívneho charakteru, konferencná
sála a výstavný priestor. Podzemný garážový systém má kapacitu
305 parkovacích miest. V objekte premáva spolu 23 výtahov, pricom 6
rýchlovýtahov zabezpecuje prepravu osôb v obvodovej presklenej
šachte hlavnej veže. Konštrukcne je budova
zhotovená z monolitického železobetónového skeletu so sústavou
nosných stlpov v kombinácii s prefabrikátmi.
Technické vybavenie z nej
robí inteligentnú budovu, kedže splna najvyššie
nároky na úspornost prevádzky, ekológiu a kvalitu pracovného
prostredia. Dvojpláštová fasáda umožnuje priame
prirodzené vetranie pracovísk, ako aj clonenie proti slnku na
vonkajšej strane plášta, cím sa zamedzuje
prehrievanie vnútorných priestorov. Prirodzeným komponentom systému
sú tiež chladené stropy, optimalizácia spotreby elektrickej
energie a špickové centrálne riadenie s konecným cielom
úspory nákladov na prevádzku.
Najvyššia
budova na území Slovenska je projektom dvojice architektov Ing.
arch. Martina Kusého a Ing. arch. Pavla Panáka. Projekt sa zacal
realizovat v novembri 1996 a bol ukoncený s trojrocným oneskorením
23.mája 2002, odovzdaním do užívania centrálnej
banke.
The building of the NBS is one of the
notable landmarks of the slovak capital, Bratislava. You have to
make a short walk to places, where are pictures
below taken from – exactly there are hidden parts of
coordinates of the geocache. There is one nasty complication - you
have to identify three places just by picture taken from them, no
coordinates are released!

The lower, horizontal part
of the building provides space for operational functions of the
central bank. An atrium with trees is added as an attractive and
practical space. In the tower there is office space, including a
conference hall and exhibition rooms. The underground parking space
has capacity of 305 parking places. There are 23 lifts in the
building, six of which, for personal transport, are high-speed
lifts in the peripheral glazed lift well of the tower. The
construction of the building is a monolithic skeleton of reinforced
concrete with a system of structural columns and prefabricated
components.
As regards its technical
facilities, the building may be called “intelligent”,
since it meets the highest requirements as to economy of operation,
ecology and quality of the working environment. The double facade
allows for direct natural ventilation of offices and the fixating
of anti-glare louvres outside the facade, which prevents
overheating the rooms. Essential components of the system are also
the cooled ceilings, which reduce the need for air conditioning of
the offices. Another important element of the system is the
optimization of power consumption. All technical functions and
power supply of the building are operated by a state-of-the-art
central control system aimed at the saving of operational
costs.
Construction on the basis
of the design winning public tender - the design of architects
Martin Kusy and Pavol Panak - was started in 1996 and completed
with 3-years long delay on 23th of May 2002.
