Located along busy Route 3 in Trenton, this is a very easy find and I would rate the terrain a 1 except that it would be a little high for a wheelchair bound person to reach. This will be a quick grab and go available year-round. This is a small cache for now with little room for trade outs, TB's and coins. I might add a container for those items at a later date.
This is my first "Snipe Hunt" cache which I hope to make into several along the same theme. Each will be a bird to find with a particular theme or purpose. I remember as a very young Boy Scout being sent out at night on a snipe hunt. We were told that snipe were birds that like to hide and that we would have to flush them out by banging on trees with sticks and making a great deal of noise. Well, little did I know that these birds would some day come back and be useful to me! This particular snipe is named GEOrge and he is just full of information. You know the type, every town has one...if you need to know what's going on or where anything is in town, just ask GEOrge. He keeps his beak to the ground and knows everyone's business. He even has some things which he keeps in his back room (attached to his house)to help you find stuff. Come say Hi to GEOrge!

Oh yeah, one other thing. GEOrge is sitting on the log.... really. Please do not leave a log book there (I have removed 5) thinking there is no log there. Just pick him up.

You know, somtimes you cannot fimd a cashe and it drives you crazy. The ones that you cannot get off your mind for months! Well this happened to me with this one.Just could not find this in August after numerous searches. For awhile I thought it was the robins nest in the ever green tree with the blue eggs in it. Good thing I did not try to open the egg. I even had my young son hold the robin egg. Visited the site so many times. The secret in eventually finding a cashe that you cannot find is to........ and I don't want this to get out............... email the owner and ask where it is!! Drove from Big Cove, New Brunswick just to finally sign this one.
Thank god!!
