Esta é uma praia frequentada por pescadores e surfistas, envolta em
arribas altas num formato curvo. O nome “Ponta Ruiva” vem da cor
avermelhada dum leixão na parte sul da praia. Nesta parte da praia
é também possível ver vários tipos de rochas.
O mato dominante é a esteva e é possível por vezes ver aves da
rapina que existem na zona.
Não é vigiada e não tem qualquer tipo de estruturas de
apoio.
A cache leva-vos a visitar esta praia. É um pequeno “tupperware”
colocado numa pequena arriba de terra que facilmente se sobe. Em
caso de maré cheia podem ter de molhar os pés.
Para chegarem ao local podem vir de Vale Santo ou da Torre de Aspa
sendo em qualquer dos casos caminho de terra batida. Tenham em
atenção se for um automóvel mais baixo poderá ter algumas
dificuldades em chegar ao local.
Esta cache está no Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano e da
Costa Vicentina. Não se esqueçam então de ajudar a preservar a
Natureza e a beleza natural do local, algum lixo que encontrem na
praia levem-no para junto dos contentores do parque de
estacionamento - Cache In, Trash Out!

This is a beach frequented by fishermen and surfers, surrounded by
high cliffs into a curved shape. The name "Ponta Ruiva" comes from
a reddish islet in the southern part of the beach. In that part of
the beach it's also possible to see several types of rocks.
The dominant vegetation is estevas and sometimes it's possible to
see birds of prey that exist in the area.
Is not monitored and doesn't have any kind of support
structures.
The cache takes you to visit this beach. It's a small container
placed on a small clay cliff that's easy to rise. In case of flood
tide you may have to wet your feet.
To reach this beach you have to come from Vale Santo or from Torre
de Aspa, all the ways in dirt roads. Please note if you have a
lower car you may have some difficulty in reaching the site.
This cache is in the Natural Park of Southwest Alentejo and Costa
Vicentina. Then do not forget to help preserve nature and natural
beauty of the place, any garbage you have find on the beach please
take it to the container in the car park - Cache In, Trash
Out!
