Tegelriket 1 – 11 är en serie cachar vid platserna för gamla tegelbruk i Sala-Heby trakten. I varje cache finns en hint som tillsammans ger koordinaterna till finalcachen Tegelriket Final N59°AB.CDE E01F°GH.IJK
Tegelriket 1 – 11 is a series of caches at the locations of former brickyards in the district of Sala-Heby. Each cache has a hint which is part of the coordinates of the final cache Tegelriket Final N59°AB.CDE E01F°GH.IJK

Sala tegelbruk
Byggt 1883, brann 1937 och 1960, nedlagt 1970. Numera ligger teknikhus på platsen.
Sala-Heby området med sin fina lera och skogar var “takteglets Klondike” från 1870-talet och 100 år framåt. Sammanlagt 24 tegelbruk har funnits, endast ett är fortfarande i drift. Nästan alla har brunnit någon gång. Allt om denna avsomnade industri finns att läsa i ”Tegelriket” av Olle Nilsson.
The district of Sala-Heby, with fine clay and woods, was ”the Klondike of roof tile” from 1870 onward, lasting for one hundred years. All in all there were 24 brickyards, only one is still in use. Almost all of them have burnt down at some point.
