Located on the top, west side of North Block. At an altitude of 371 metres, North Block is one of the highest points on Lower Eyre Peninsula. The trek is a steep 1.5km long, 200m high trek from Gap Road.
The only approach not on private property is from the south off of Gap Road where you have 10 metres of road reserve on the east side of a fence running north-south up to the top. You will have to hop a fence at the start. On the top is a Trig. Reserve (160m x 160m) and Communication Towers. The only Restricted Areas are a few places on top and are well fenced off, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. There is a service track to the east of the fence which doesn't always follow the road reserve, especially at the start although, I would still use it, as the alternative is a fight through thick scrub (It's illegal to fence across a road reserve, anyway). Gap Road can be accessed from Warrow (Flinders Highway) from the west or Edillilie from the east (Tod Highway - take first right turn a few kms west of Edillilie).

The cache is located amongst some bushes tall to the surrounding vegetation. The cache is a roughly 3L round container. The original contents were Mickey Mouse, a pair of dividers, District Logo Stickers, a small calculator and a postcard of a far away place oversees I once visited. The cache is about 50 metres from an old, historical survey mark found near the western corner of the aviation security fence and appears to be in the middle of the Trig Reserve.

The Hundred Line runs along the fence you followed on the way up and can be discerned for many more kilometres by looking to the north and south.

Enjoy the best view around - I bet few will visit this cache.

Regards XanBrother.
