Geocache Description:

How about a ten mile loop hike, with plenty of ups and downs, several good vistas, and some road walking. To hikers this loop is known as the “Stonetown Circular” or the “Six and a Half Hills”.

This is a four part multi cache. All four are located near the Stonetown Circular, which is blazed with a red triangle on a white background. The eastern half of the Stonetown Circular coincides with the longer Highlands Trail. The Stonetown Circular has been recently blazed, but the trail is not heavily used or well maintained, thus major parts of this hike may be considered a blazed bushwhack.Warnings:
1. Rocks are slippery and dangerous when wet. Use good footwear.
2. Hunting in area - use caution and wear orange in season
3. While hiding the cache on June 3, 2004 several muddy areas had to be crossed.
4. Not recommended for children

Notes:
1. Cache is dog friendly (Athletic dogs only).
2. There are no restrooms or 7-11s in the area.
3. It took us a little less than eight hours to hide the caches. Allow plenty of time to complete.
4. Caches #1, #2 and #3 are recycled Waterboy With Wife Trademarks. That is they are 8 oz empty water bottles with a set of coordinates inside the bottle. They should be read without opening the bottle.
5. Cache #4 is an ammo box.
6. In the immediate vicinity of each cache there is a Waterboy With Wife trademark bottle of water. (Not necessarily valid after the first finder.)
7. For those cachers who are not fully familiar with the use of expletives it is recommended that you brush up before attempting this multi-cache.
8. To hide this cache we parked at N41º04.739’ W074º18.445’. This is the parking area for the Stonetown ballfield. Stonetown Circular trail blazes may be found on Stonetown Road as it passes the ballfields.
9. While hiding this cache we passed the caches named “Windbeams Windfall” and “Roo 2”. Two fun caches.
10. NYNJTC Map 21 covers this hiking area.

We plan to remove this cache early in the year 2006.
