Peppa Pig Trail 7 - Bonus Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

peppa pig and george: This series has had a good run for the last few years. A few of the placements have been compromised a few times and we feel the time is right to archive both the Peppa and George Pig series. Hopefully this will free up the area for other cache opportunities. We will collect the caches in the next few days and relocate any Travel Bugs.

Geocache Description:

This is the final bonus cache in the Peppa Pig Trail series. The cache is not at the above co-ordinates but this is the suggested parking location at Allesley Park.
The series comprises of 6 traditional and one Bonus cache on a circular walk of 4 miles along well marked public footpaths (no stiles) and roads around the Allesley/Coundon area of Coventry. All caches are located on or within 1.5 metres of Public footpaths and roads.

The Peppa Pig Trail can be combined with the George Pig trail for a walk of approx. 7.5miles. Divert to the George Pig trail No.6 "Pedro Pony" after Peppa Pig Trail No.4 "Woof Woof". Do the George Pig trail in reverse order and rejoin the Peppa Pig Trail at No.5 "Wedge Island"

After finding (or not finding) the Post cache, continue along the road down the hill bearing left and take footpath through kissing gate on right-hand side just before two posted high level Fly Tipping sign. Continue on footpath across two fields following the right-hand hedgerow. After crossing footbridge (kissing gate each end) turn right and through kissing gate to cross Coundon Wedge Drive (take care) to footpath diagonally left.

To find the co-ordinates for the Bonus Cache you will first need to find the other information as you travel around the Peppa Pig Trail series. All this information is available without finding any caches.

After finding (or not finding) the Bonus, pass through kissing gate heading towards the Church Steeple. Cross the bridge and through gate. Continue up the hill and through gates. Turn right on bridle path and in 75 metres take footpath left through Wildflower Meadow and through gate into Churchyard. Continue forward past Church and down steps to main road.
