GCS - extended statistics

Found in the beautiful Northern town of Pai, if you've never been to Pai check it out. Everyone should be able to locate this one. Very easy.

Don't get 'stumped' looking for this cache. It is located in a public access area between a very popular and friendly restaurant as well as a cool evening bar. The cache is in a rubbermaid container and contains a pen, logbook, 2 * 25 satang, a Burmese cigar and a couple of other surprises. A few guys in Pai are watching over the cache.

I am sorry to write this, but Pai is a beautiful town with many places to hide a cache, why would you choose a place like the crapy ugly back of a restaurant to hide it ?

Or maybe it was nice before in the past but i doubt it, whan i saw the place, the restaurant was closed though, i did'nt even want to look for the cache

But if you read this don't get wrong, Pai is a wonderful town with beautiful places to visit around it too !

It is worth the 762 curves road + 4 hours from chiang mai

Regards. Norm'Ozzi.

I found this cache with the help of a local & don't think I would have found it otherwise.

Just found this one with a little help from the woman in the shop.. She saw me going down the alley and figured I must be looking for the "Geo-box" :) Cache box is cracked, but contents are dry for the moment at least. TNLN, TFTC, Spark_ie from Ireland

@1030

We were stumped by the location... It took the GPS 2 minutes to count down from 200m... While we were not moving!
Anyway, the very kind cache guardian took us by the hand and brought us to what we seeked. No need for the GPS after all. Without the guardian I think we would have not found this cache. Very sneaky and deep hide. The cache is completely not camouflaged, but totally invisible.

The box was pretty empty, so we filled it up a bit.

Hmmm, I bet the guy that she was referring to was me and I definitely brought the cache back to its rightful resting place (without her knowledge) so I expect it is still there. Cheers, SD
