Geocache Description:

Comeragh Trail – Fairy Tree

Unfortunately we’ve had to replace the original Fairy Tree Cache with the help of the Knights Family from Tory Hill, as the first cache has been muggled…

This cache is a square plastic container located not far from the Fairy Tree. The cache is not hidden at the Fairy Tree itself, however, for those who don't know the mystery about the fairy tree and the magic road, here's a bit of info:

Following the sign of Mahon Falls, approximately 1km further you will cross a cattle grid as you are entering the Mahon Valley. About 150 meters from the grid you will go down a small slope. This part is known as the Magic Road. Stop at the fairy tree situated a few yards from the road to your left and turn off the engine. Keep your car in N and keep the handbreak down. You will find to your amazement that the car will travel backwards up the hill with no power! So give that a try. The kids will love this!

More about the cache: It contains a few nice goodies: Other than the logbook, two pens and two pencils & -sharpener, it contains a Disposable camera, Sudoku Game, Playing Cards, Mini Light Torch and three Irish Lapel Pins.

Feel free to take a pic or two with the disposable camera and I'm requesting all to leave it in the cache for other's to do the same... Should you see that there's about 5 or so snaps left, kindly note this in your find so that I can arrange for the camera to be replaced. The pictures will then be posted on geocaching.com, so watch this space

As for the Cache, the coordinates will take you there; see spoiler photo attached if you wish. Good luck and enjoy the beautiful views.
