BYOP. Quick P&G located just outside of the cemetery gate. You will not have to enter the cemetery to make the find. Road going into the cemetery is sketchy at best during the winter so cache at this location at your own risk after a heavy rainstorm, during winter thaw or after a big snow event. Do not cache at night. Stealth is a MUST here.
Oakwood Cemetery is located in the SE 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of Section 1 in Marcy Township, Boone County, Iowa. This cemetery is also known as the Moingona Cemetery as it serves as the primary burial grounds for that small community. There is not a lot of information listed regarding this cemetery, but it appears that there are at least fifty stones here and probably more burials without stones. It is surrounded on at at least three sides by timber and the Des Moines River sits down below to the North of the grounds.
