Sadus is one of the ancient towns in Arabia. It is relatively short drive from Riyadh to the North West. Lewis Pelly, the British Resident in the Gulf, passed by it while making a trip from Kuwait to Riyadh in 1865. He described it as an oasis in the valley and made a reference to some of its old structures.
The cache is near the entrance of Acacia valley and sits in one of the ridges outside the village of Sadus and hence the name. It is accessible to 2WD.
