Five if by land, One if by sea... terrain difficulty, that is.
Cache is at Smith Mountain Lake on the Pittsylvania/Franklin County side. It MIGHT be accessible by land, but probably would involve trekking across private property. Best bet is with a boat. Or helicopter with pontoons. Swimming might work, but it's a big lake.
It's a regular Tupperware container with white lid and no markings (forgot Mr. Sharpie and didn't have any stickers or anything when I hid it).
As an aside, after I first entered the info for this cache, I noticed that the map shows a road passing nearby. I thought this probably merited an edit. I believe that this is probably a "paper road," one that was planned but was never actually built. There is no road of which I know even near the cache, let alone running right over it.
Cache is in an area which is prone to fairly heavy use by weekend boaters who may be camping or hanging out in a cove nearby, so be discreet. If you're hunting this one on a weekend, smile! I might be watching you from our house!
Original contents are a Koosh ball, Gold Dollar, Matchbox Ferrari, wheresgeorge.com dollar, hockey puck liberated from 4Finders EXCELLENT "Where the Sidewalk Ends" cache, log book and some other stuff I can't recall. There might be a whoopee cushion and some fake vomit, but I think I'm saving that for my next hide. Forgot to include the disposable camera, but will probably add it on a future visit. If it's there, take a picture. If not, don't. Just draw one in the log book.
