The cache container is a small army green decon container. You will not have to go off trail to locate it. It contains a few small souvenirs from Disney World and Oklahoma, a leather ring, a log book and two pencils.
This Oklahoma City Nature Center is located in a busy part of town. Stop in here for a quick get-a-way on your way to the mall. Hike one of the many shaded, maintained trails or stroll through a meadow filled with native wildflowers.
The Nature Center building houses the Exploratorium where you can discover the origin and history of many of the parks natural features through various displays and exhibits. Sign up for the 2:30 Sunday program or visit the nature library here too.
Park open from 9 a.m to 6 p.m. Closed Mondays throughout the year. Closed Tuesdays, December through March.
