Dock Point Cache Traditional Geocache
walkietalkie: Due to pirates I am archiving this cache. Will hide another cache at another location as this is the second time this cache has been vandalized. I know who the culprits are and will have a talk with them & their parents. Fellow cachers: check out Bear Bread Stump and be the first to find Gold Creek Treasure if your in the Valdez area. City of Valdez hiking trail. Steep, railed, graveled, Hill Top Trail to boardwalk with west and east overlooks.
From the Richardson Hwy go left on Chitina towards the small boat harbor. Left on Kobuk. Next left to parking lot for Dock Point Trail. Public Rest rooms. Covered picnic area. Beach access.
Due to unfortunate circumstances, the micro-cache is gone. I’ve replaced it with a Rubbermaid container full of goodies and hidden it better at the same location. Hope it has a long life and lots of visitors!
