[ENG] After visiting Sea Museum, don't forget to look for this cache. [LT] Aplanke Juru Muzieju, nepamirškite surasti lobio!

[ENG] Cache is a small plastic box, wrapped in the black bag. Contains: Sea Museum pin, Fish, Medal TB, logbook and pencil. It must see while visiting Klaipeda. The museum collections include the sea fauna and insects, archaeological, ethnographic and iconographical items, coins, documents, ships and their equipment. Open air pools inhabited by Baltic seals, sea lions and penguins Seals and penguins are breeding successfully. There you will find 31 tank with Lithuanian freshwater, the Baltic Sea and the tropical seas fish. Lithuanian Maritime Museum was established in the place called Kopgalis where fishermen's village started settling since the 19th century. The fortress of Kopgalis was destroyed in 1945 and was not used for some time. The central readout of the fortress was rebuilt, the fortress of Kopgalis restored, an exposition arranged. Aquarium with freshwater fishes of Lithuanian lakes and rivers and the Baltic Sea was built, expositions of sea fauna etc. arranged. In the first stage of the establishment of the museum the exposition became a composite one, embracing all spheres of relations between the man and the sea. Jeigu atvykote i Klaipeda, privalote aplankyti Juru Muzieju. Lietuvos juru muziejaus kompleksas isikures Kuršiu Nerijos šiauriniame taške, XIX a. restauruotoje Kopgalio tvirtoveje ir užima 33 000 m² plota. Lauko baseinuose gyvena Baltijos ruoniai, Šiaures juru liutai, pingvinai. Ruoniai ir pingvinai sekmingai veisiami.Vasaros sezono metu vyksta Šiaures juru liutu pasirodymai. 31 akvariume laikomos Baltijos juros, Lietuvos geluju vandenu, dekoratyvines, koraliniu rifu žuvys. Lietuvos juru muziejus ikurtas vietoveje, vadinamoje Kopgaliu, kurioje nuo XIX a. kuresi žveju kaimas. 1945 m. Kopgalio tvirtove buvo apgriauta, po to stovejo nenaudojama. 1970–1979 m. atstatytas tvirtoves centrinis redutas, restauruota Kopgalio tvirtove, irengta ekspozicija. Tvirtoves centriniame redute irengtas akvariumas su Lietuvos gelavandenemis ir Baltijos juros žuvimis, preparuotos juru faunos ekspozicija bei kt. ekspozicijos.
