Can You Hear Me Now Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

LavaLizard: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

If the cache owner addresses the issues that lead to archival and contacts me within a reasonable period of time (6-8 weeks), it may be possible to unarchive the cache.

Geocache Description:

*** Caution *** The Cache is not at the given coordinates, nor are they a good parking location.

No this isn't a blatant promo for a cellular provider. Nor is the title a clue to the hiding spot. It is a hint to the method required for decoding the clue. Long before there were price check scanners and even punched tape there was a method for encoding electromagnetic signals. It is called Morse Code. We all have heard it, but have you ever had to use it? If you have a ham radio license this will be a slam dunk. If you don't, don't fret it is not as hard as you fear and I bet you'll have this beat in less than 10 minutes. I've given you the degrees and minutes for both Latitude and Longitude (as if you couldn't have guessed). You need to decode the decimal portion of the minutes. Each of the following links will play the code for the three numbers (spelled out) that make up the decimal.

N 33° 39.lat.wav

W 117° 35.long.wav

As of Dec 5, 2013 I moved the .wav files to a shared dropbox folder.
No bushwhacking is required but if sticky webs make you squeamish, consider yourself forwarned.

Please be careful when you get to the final destination, the picture in cuckoo cashers log made me squeamish. The area in general is kid friendly but the hiding spot could be hazardous.
