WWI & WWII Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

The Rat: The physical location has changed a bit and made this more difficult. The neighbors here are too possessive and nosy as well, so I will not be able to replace this one. The good news is that I will explain this one in the puzzle workshop on Feb. 3.

Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the posted coordinates, but is within two miles.

William Wright I loved to talk about politics and history with his son, William Wright II, especially military history and strategy. I overheard part of a converstaion betweeen them:

WWI: "Look, Bill, we just can't allow the Iraqis to assemble in masses, even peaceably. It's too dangerous."
WWII: "Dad, you're being reactionary. We've got U.S. soldiers taking up their homes, using them for quarters. Of course they're going to protest."
WWI: "Well, a regular military is necessary if we're going to create a truly free state and have it be secure."
WWII: "Maybe, but I think the real threat to order is that there is just no common law that all Iraqis recognize."
WWI: "I disagree. The threat is that all Iraqis who want to can carry guns - it's still legal there."
WWII: "It is dangerous, especially for the newly elected leaders. As soon as they are elected they become assassination targets. When they finally elect a permanent president he'll probably get killed before he even gets sworn into office. How does it work there? Does the Vice President-elect become president? I hope they have some provision for succession in such cases. They're going to need it."
WWI: "Who knows. It'll be a long time before the people there are secure in their houses, even."
WWII: "True enough. The capital is the most infamous place there. It's capital punishment just to live there."
WWI: "Like I said - the problem is everybody being able to carry guns."
WWII: "Yeah, but they have to, really. It's a compulsory process if you want to stay alive."
WWI: "I don't want to disparage others, but it's just not the same over there."
WWII: "We can't compare it with here. It's a muslim country and the government won't have credibility unless they establish that as a state religion and work with the mullahs. And they have to be tough."
WWI: "I agree that we have to face it. The usual civil liberties just have to be suspended during time of war or public danger."

I moved on, but the conversation gave me an idea for a puzzle cache.
