As the former president of Princeton University, Woodrow Wilson was nicknamed “The Schoolmaster.”
His whole life, Wilson was never in good health. As a child, he suffered from chronic nausea, indigestion, heartburn, and constipation. Despite rising to the Presidency, he had few close personal friends as most people found him stubborn and arrogant. I guess it’s hard to be close to someone who actually brought a stomach pump with him when he went out to eat.
