This cache is in the Southern Trails zone of the park. Thacher and Thompson’s Lake have over 30 miles of hiking, offering something for everyone from hiking, skiing and snowshoeing to mountain biking and snowmobiling. Take a hike on our Red Trail and enjoy nature as you wind through a forest of hardwood and deciduous trees, wildflowers and abundant plant life. The Red Trail is 1.25 miles long and very popular amongst our trail runners and mountain bikers as it offers a constantly changing array of terrain. From the southern end of the Red Trail, pick up one of our white, connector trails. If you are close but getting thirsty, sorry; there is nothing here to drink. But don’t fret, continue hiking and then you can get a drink of water from one of our many water fountains in the park.
The items in the cache that relate to the park are souvenirs that do not need to be replaced with a trade item.
