The North Chatian Mt. is located at the boundary of Taipei County & Taoyuan County.
The highest peak of North Chatian Mt. is about 1727 meters. The trail is a little tough and it will spend you 7 to 8 hours to make a round trip. During the trip the scenery are so beautiful. When you almost arrive the peak you will see a lot of beautiful beech tree. If you are lucky you may see the leaves of beech tree turn yellow or red during the autumn. Believe me it's worthwhile to visit it!
The cache was hided very close to the peak of North Chatian Mt.

I came with my collegues. We have planned this climb two years ago and finally finished it today. It was rainy and foggy during the climb up. At one time I thought we cannot see any scenery today. Fortunately, the weather became better after noon. We saw the beautiful beech trees and the wonderful cloudfall during the climb down. It is worthwhile to make this climb.
I just spent two minutes finding this cache. It is still in good condition. TFTC & TNLNSL

It has been a long time since the cache was last found. We loved the muddy climb up the mountain, I washed off naked in the stream, what a way to get refreshed! TFTC its in good condition...

Quite a difficult trail, especially in rainy weather. Pouring rain with thunder when approaching the peak. Quit searching for cache after 10 minutes try. Not even have the mood for instant noodle. This is not my day. Nice huge log group though.
