Geocache Description:

I love cake, no doubt about it.

We were driving around one morning caching up on the Augusta area listening to Cake's Fashion Nugget album. Somehow I just blurted out the fact that I love Cake! Whether its the band, or a double layered choclate frosted piece of heaven, I love cake!

We wanted to place a cache somewhere and the Bond Brook trails came into mind. I knew from other cachers they allow new hides out here, cache friendly I like to say. And I heard from my Boss they were constructing new trails out here. The day I came to find the other caches in the area I stumbled across some of these trails. I had noticed a really challenging place for a hide, but it was too close to the cache at the summit, so I headed down the trail a little farther, hard to get distance when the trail switchbacks! I eventually found the hiding spot, should be fairly obvious with the hint, but then again? As you are approaching the cache, the trail can be fairly steep in sections and rocky, so be careful. Oh, and it forks in the middle of the approach, make sure you take the right trail! The trail enters the woods beyond Megantic Trackers, GCXPCY, from the parking lot, and is currently marked with red flags. Cache is black and the size of a film canister.

If you do end up parking at the back of the park by the public works, the trail enters the woods almost immediately to the left as you start walking into the park.

Congrats to dubord27 for FTF!
