Pennybacker Pickup Cache In Trash Out® Event

October is The Golden Month in Austin!  So much is the case that the fine folks at ACL are now expanding their festival to the first two weekends of this month.  With all the visitors in town, I thought we could put a little extra polish on our fair city by cleaning up this oft visited, but oft littered upon spot.

The overlook is beautiful, but trashy, so let's put a sparkle in one of our crown jewels!

CITO will be Saturday, October 3 from 8:00 am to 10:00.

I will bring bags, you bring water, your gloves, grabbers and pokey sticks and we can clean up the parking area and the overlook itself.  There are also several caches in the area and if you haven't found them, this will be your chance! 

I will contact the City about possible pick up, but if you've got a truck and are willing to help with the haul off, that would be great too!
